Chayce Properties gives you one dedicated coordinator for all of it, so you are not managing several companies at once.
Depending on the package you choose, we help you sort and declutter room by room, stage the property for viewings, pack with care, arrange a fully insured removal, transfer utilities, clean the vacated home and unpack and set up the new one. Our Discovery Consultation, from £150, is the best place to start: in an hour you get a personalised plan, timeline and budget before committing to anything.
We are based in Northampton and help older people downsize across the whole UK, whether you are moving to a bungalow, a retirement village, a smaller family home or closer to your children. Most people benefit from starting three to six months before their target date, though we can work to shorter timescales.
Packing is done room by room, with every box labelled by destination room and essentials such as medication and important papers kept accessible. The removal itself is fully insured against loss or damage in transit, with the cover set out in your service agreement before the move begins. Your coordinator also liaises with your estate agent and solicitor, and Gold Prestige adds full solicitor coordination.
You stay in charge of every decision about what you keep. We never rush sentimental items, and your family can be involved as much or as little as you like.
