What tends to matter in a Cotswolds or rural Midlands move

Many properties are period or listed buildings (stone cottages, converted barns, farmhouses), often with narrow doorways, uneven access and conservation-area restrictions on things like skip placement or parking.

  • Period & listed homes

Narrow doorways and uneven access shape how furniture and crew are planned.

  • Longer carries

A farmhouse set back from the road or a cottage down a shared track means a longer carry to the vehicle. Flagging this in your consultation lets us plan crew size and timing.

Getting there from Northampton

Planned around realistic travel times

The Midlands are the closest part of the country to our Northampton base, so travel for viewings, staging visits and moving day is shortest here. We still work with clients across the whole UK.

Cotswolds & Rural Midlands: your questions answered

Do you handle period and listed homes in the Cotswolds?

Yes. Stone cottages, converted barns and farmhouses can have narrow doorways, uneven access and conservation-area restrictions, so we flag these early and plan the crew and timing around them.

Is the Midlands closest to your Northampton office?

Yes. The Midlands are the part of the country closest to our Northampton base, so travel for viewings, staging visits and moving day is shortest here.

What if my rural property has a long carry to the removal vehicle?

Tell us during your Discovery Consultation. A longer carry from a farmhouse or a cottage down a shared track affects crew size and timing, and we plan for it in advance.
