A senior moving service helps older people move home from start to finish, not just transport their belongings. At Chayce Properties that means sorting and decluttering, packing, a fully insured removal, estate agent and solicitor liaison, and unpacking and settling in, all managed by one dedicated coordinator.
Removals are part of what we do, but we are not a standard removals firm. Alongside the removal itself we manage sorting, packing, cleaning, liaison with your estate agent and solicitor, and settling in, through one coordinator rather than several separate companies.
Our services are designed with older people in mind, but anyone who wants a fully managed move is welcome.
We are based at Unit F2B Barratt House, Kingsthorpe Road, Northampton NN2 6EZ, and arrange moves across the whole UK, including Northamptonshire, the East Midlands, London and the South East, the Home Counties, the South West and the Cotswolds.

Packing and removals start at £995 with Bronze Essentials, full-service moves with a dedicated coordinator start at £1,850 with Silver Comfort, Gold Prestige starts at £3,250 and Platinum Bespoke at £6,500. The final cost depends on the size of the property and the support you need.
The Discovery Consultation costs £150. It is a one-hour session, in person in Northampton or by phone, that gives you a personalised move plan, timeline and budget before you commit to anything.
Bronze Essentials covers packing, insured removal, furniture reassembly and light cleaning. Silver Comfort adds declutter support, staging, a deep clean and unpacking with a dedicated coordinator. Gold Prestige adds solicitor coordination, home staging and up to six weeks of storage. Platinum Bespoke is a fully bespoke relocation with a personal concierge and three months of post-move support.

Yes. Every removal is fully insured against loss or damage in transit, with the details set out in your service agreement before the move begins.
Yes. We help you decide what will fit in the new home, sort and declutter, pack, move and set up the new property, whether it is a bungalow, a flat, a retirement apartment or a smaller family home.
Yes. Our coordinators help you sort room by room into keep, sell, donate and let go, at your own pace. Nothing is disposed of without your agreement.
Yes. Packing is included from Bronze Essentials and unpacking and setting up the new home is included from Silver Comfort. Boxes are labelled by destination room.
Ideally three to six months before your target move date, though we can work to shorter timescales with a fuller-service package.
Yes. Many of our clients are adult children arranging a parent's move. You can be involved by phone or video, and your coordinator keeps you updated throughout.
Yes. We help with sorting, packing, removal and setting up the new home, planned around your move-in date and the rules of the new community. We do not recommend or sell retirement properties.
Yes. Your coordinator liaises with your estate agent and solicitor, and Gold Prestige adds full solicitor coordination.
Gold Prestige includes up to six weeks of storage. Talk to us about your dates if you need storage with another package.
